This particular Chromebook debuted in June last year carrying a $700 price tag, and it’s now seeing a $107 discount. Only once before today have we seen this notebook go for less than today’s discounted rate, and it’s now within $3 of that price. The Expertbook CX54 is one of the latest Chromebooks out there featuring Intel’s newest Core Ultra 5 115U, which is an octa-core CPU with speeds reaching up to 4.2GHz. This processor even comes with a dedicated NPU for AI tasks, and it’s coupled with 16GB RAM and 128GB SSD. Folks picking up this notebook will also receive a complimentary year of Google One AI Premium, unlocking access to Gemini Advanced. It has a 14-inch high-resolution (WQXGA) panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and an anti-glare coating. Other highlights here include a slim and lightweight chassis with a good selection of ports including two Thunderbolt 4 ports and HDMI 2.1.
