Amazon hosted a dedicated showcase event last month to unveil the all-new upgraded Alexa+, and today we are tracking the first chance to save since its debut on some of the gear that will support it as it begins to roll out. There were some impressive new features and demos of the upgraded Amazon AI assistant – “natural, flowing conversations,” the new Alexicons, third-party AI integrations, the ability to handle far more complicated commands, and a whole lot more detailed right here. While at the time it seemed as though Alexa+ would only be supported on Echo Show 8, 10, 15, and 21, many of the smart Amazon speakers and displays now carry a “This device works with Alexa+” badge, and a bunch of them are also now on sale ahead of the Big Spring Sale set to kick off on Tuesday. When Amazon debuted the new Alexa+, it only mentioned “support for Echo Show 8, 10, 15, and 21.” And while complete functionality, like access to Amazon ecosystem smart camera features for example, might only be available on these smart display models, all of the gear mentioned above now contains the works with Alexa+ badge.
