Razer’s first ergonomic and productivity-focused vertical mouse is here, grab the new Pro Click V2 Vertical now

Razer has added two new mice to its catalog – the Pro Click V2 and Pro Click V2 Vertical. The standard Pro Click V2 replaces the original Pro Click model whereas the Pro Click V2 Vertical is a completely new mouse in the brand’s mice collection. It’s the brand’s first vertical mouse with which it aims to compete directly with the likes of Logitech in the vertical mouse space. The Razer Pro Click V2 is now up for grabs at Amazon for $119.99 shipped while the standard model is “coming soon” exclusively at Razer’s online store. Head below for a closer look and more details.

Both the Pro Click V2 and the Pro Click V2 Vertical are different from the usual gaming mice we’re typically used to seeing from Razer. These are more ergonomic and productivity-focused models, offering multi-device connectivity, Chroma RGB, and more. The Pro Click V2 Vertical has a 71.7-degree tilted angle, which puts it into a handshake-like position. This model, as you can see, even has a big cutout for your thumb to rest, and Razer has also added an extended base to elevate your wrist to reduce strain. The standard Pro Click V2, on the other hand, has a more traditional design with a 30-degree tiled angle which might be better suited for folks who prefer a natural resting position.

As far as the specifications are concerned, both new mice have Razer’s advanced Focus Pro Optical Sensor with a maximum sensitivity of 30,000 DPI along with maximum acceleration of 40G, and a top speed of 550 inches per second (IPS). Razer has also fitted these new models with mechanical switches rated for up to 60 million clicks for lasting durability. The Pro Click V2 and the Click V2 Vertical support tri-mode connectivity with Razer HyperSpeed Wireless (2.4 GHz), Bluetooth connectivity for up to three devices, and USB-C wired mode. One thing to note about the Vertical model is that it features 18 zones of underglow RGB lighting compared to 14 zones on the standard one. The standard Click Pro V2, however, one-ups the vertical model with nine programmable buttons, as opposed to just eight buttons on the latter.

Other highlights of these new mice include a “long-lasting battery life” of “up to 6 months,” support for Razer’s “AI Prompt Master” for quick access to prompting ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, and more. Razer has listed its new Click Pro V2 Vertical on Amazon for $119.99 shipped. It only comes in black and ships with a USB-C charging cable. The standard Click Pro V2 is exclusive to Razer’s website and carries a $100 price tag. This one also comes in black, though, you can still pick up the original Click Pro mouse in white down at $84.91 shipped from Amazon right now.
