We are yet to see any price drops on the new Powerbeats Pro 2 that debuted recently to critical acclaim, but there is a chance to save nonetheless. The price has yet to drop at all from the $249 list at Amazon, but Best Buy is now offering “excellent” condition open-box units with a full 1-year warranty at the lowest price we have tracked to date. Details below.

Best Buy’s “excellent” condition open-box listing for the black model Powerbeats Pro 2 is now sitting at $173.99 shipped. Regularly $249, this is $75 in savings and the best price we have tracked to date from a reputable source in this sort of condition and with a full 1-year warranty. The previous low had this set at $186, or $64 off – that deal didn’t last long and today’s likely won’t either.

The “excellent” condition open-box pricing isn’t quite as low on the other colors – in fact, the only other color on sale is the Quick Sand set and only by a few bucks (we recommend passing on this offer).

Here the details you need to know on Best Buy’s open-box “excellent condition” units:

This is an Open Box product, which means it’s been opened and returned by another customer. Each open box item is unique, and we offer different discounts based on the product’s condition. To see a product’s condition before purchasing, visit us in store.
