It’s available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities, and Amazon is currently offering deals on both 2TB and 4TB models. These new SN8100 drives are powered by advanced BiCS8 TLC 3D NAND, and they’re said to deliver double the speed of the brand’s previous Gen 4.0 drives while being “100% more power-efficient.” The heatsink variants of these drives are yet to hit the shelves, though, they’re less likely to get discounts anytime soon.
