Twelve South debuts new ultra-thin portable metal Curve Nano smartphone stand at $35

Twelve South is back again today with its latest new release – the Curve Nano. Just after the release of the all-in-one PowerCord charging solution, today the brand is introducing its latest ultra-simple pocket-sized smartphone accessory. Scope out the details below.

Twelve South debuts new Curve Nano

The new Twelve South Curve Nano is described as a “a pocket-sized, fold-flat magnetic stand that holds your Qi2 and MagSafe compatible phone at the perfect angle.” As far as we can tell here, there’s nothing overly remarkable, an d nothing hidden up the sleeves as it were, but rather just an ultra-simple, and ultra-thin on-the-go accessory to hold your handset up at the ideal viewing angle without taking up hardly any space in your EDC.

Features at a glance:

  • Holds MagSafe/Qi2 phones securely
  • Adjusts smoothly to any angle
  • Stays stable with anti-slip base
  • Ultra-light and compact

The whole unit comes in the form of a super flat and thin aluminum panel with a fold up mechanism when you’re ready to make use of its built-in magnetic ring that “aligns effortlessly with your iPhone, clicking gently into place and holding it securely.”

You’ll find a silicone padding and a slip-resistant base in place here to, presumably, help keep things stable on whatever surface you are deploying it on.

Again, there’s no charging here or really any tech at all, just a convenient and ultra-portable gadget you can stick in your travel kit or EDC to have at the ready when you need it. Again, this thing is perhaps about as unremarkable as it will be convenient to have in your kit if/when you need it, and you will likely be happy you bought Twelve South’s instead of some bargain bin solution. I just wish it was $20.

It ships with a “curated travel case” and comes in three colors (Dune, Slate, and Coastal Blue) for $34.99. It is available directly on the Twelve South site and over at Amazon with Prime shipping
