As part of its Prime Day competitor sale, Walmart is offering Meta’s Quest 3S mixed reality headset Batman bundle for $249.99 shipped. That’s a straight-up $50 discount on a kit that typically goes for $300. We’ve seen this headset get bundled with gift card offers before, but it hasn’t had many straight-up cash deals just yet. Today’s $50 discount knocks it $20 below its previous all-time low and our mention from earlier this year in April, making this a great time to snag one. The Quest 3S headset is Meta’s latest mixed reality headset that hit the scene in September last year. It shares many similarities with the Quest 3 headset – it uses the same Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip and includes the familiar Touch Plus controllers. One key improvement, though, is a larger battery which offers longer playtime between charges. While the 3S is slightly bulkier than the Quest 3, it delivers sharp visuals with a resolution of 1832 x 1920 per eye. As a bonus, it comes bundled with Batman: Arkham Shadow and includes a 3-month trial of Quest+, Meta’s VR subscription service.
