While the new Sony XM6 ANC over-ears have arrived as the best and most exciting new headphones of the year, the brand’s WF-1000XM5 buds remain both the latest-generation set and some of the best in the game. Early Prime Day AirPods deals have arrived from $100, including the latest AirPods Pro 2 down at $169, but if you’re looking to score Sony’s lauded set they are once again $100 off via Amazon.
The Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds carry a regular price at $300, or typically more like $298 at Amazon. While we have seen them down at $198 a few times this year already, today’s deal at $199.99 shipped comes within $2 of that to provide one of the best prices of the year.
We are less than 24 hours away from the start of Prime Day 2025, and we could see these buds (and frankly anything else Amazon sells) go for less than we have here today – it’s hard to go wrong at $100 off anyway, but you have been warned. This deal also lands alongside some notable discounts we spotted on the previous-generation XM4 and XM5 over-ear headphones you’ll find below at as much as $265 under the price of the new XM6 set:
