One common thread we have seen this year among Apple gear accessory makers is the hybrid charging device. Combining wall chargers with MagSafe stands and power cords with USB-C cables, one such example of this is the Nomad Universal Cable for Apple Watch that brings together a traditional USB-C lead with an integrated Apple Watch charger, and it has just introduced a new white colorway.
The Nomad Universal Cable launched earlier this year, as you likely already know from our coverage over at 9to5Mac, but at the time it was only available in what the brand calls Carbide – a mix of black and darker metal cable ends.
But if you head over the product’s listing page on the official site, you’ll now find a new white model that will match nicely with the rest of your official Apple accessories. It combines the same woven cable lead and rubberized cable tie with silvered connector jacks on either end and, of course, the integrated magnetic Apple Watch charger pad.
Outside of the paint job, it is exactly the same as the original Carbide model. But for those who might not have checked that one out yet, here’s a quick rundown of the specs and features:
- 100W USB-C PD cable
- Apple Watch Fast Charger
- Kevlar reinforcement
- Electroplated metal connectors
- 1.5m length
- Integrated cable tie

The new white Nomad Universal Cable for Apple Watch is now available for purchase at the same $79 the Carbide model fetches.
