Amazon is running a Lightning deal on the latest Nothing Ear (Open) buds down at $99 shipped. This deal marks the return of last month’s Prime Day offer and delivers the lowest price we can find on the brand’s unique open earbud solution.

While they are listed with a $159 regular price tag at Amazon – you might even find some sites claiming they were as much as $189, they actually carry a $149 list price at Nothing and are now $50 off the going rate.

Again, today’s deal is on par with the Prime Day deal we featured last month and lands at $29 below the price we featured before that – the deal we have today is matching the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon since release late last year.

We were impressed by the “design and sound quality” after getting a chance to review them, adding that they can easily fill “a room with music that no one else can hear.”

This, perhaps before anything else, is the first sign of a good set of open earbuds. But once add in the 30-hours of playback, onboard mics for taking calls, platform-agnostic compatibility (iPhone and Android), and a “next-level comfort with a 50-degree tilt for optimal positioning,” you’re certainly in good shape.

That said, like most of the Nothing personal listening devices, the real highlight for me here is the aesthetics. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a set that looks this unique, featuring a sort of retro-modern vibe that looks they are both slightly vintage and yet somehow from the near future.
