Looking for a super-affordable officially licensed Switch 2 camera? This mini model just hit the $35 Amazon low

Not all USB cameras work on Switch 2 properly and the official one Nintendo makes is going to be the best option for full functionality. But if you’re just looking to get your face on that tiny little on-screen display during gameplay, something like the much more affordable and officially-licensed HORI USB Camera for Nintendo Switch 2 might work while it’s down at the $34.99 all-time low – shipping is free for Prime members or in orders over $35. 

Yes, this is not the best camera out there at 640 x 480 – that’s almost laughably, even criminally, low res. And most folks would rather just drop down the $54 for the official Nintendo Switch 2 camera instead, myself included. 

But if you’re looking to save some cash and not worry about whether or not an off-brand cheapie model will even work on Switch 2 properly, the officially-licensed model from HORI will do the trick. It’s also small enough to use in handheld mode too.

Again, we are not talking about conference calls here, but rather just something to get your mug in the game for fun, and maybe it’s not worth spending anything more than $35 to get make it happen. I, generally speaking, wouldn’t recommend this HORI camera for anything else anyway. 

If you care about how high-res your image is on-screen when it;s as small as it is above, don’t buy this camera, just fork over the extra $20 and get Nintendo’s instead. But if you don’t, save the $20 and buy dinner with it instead.
