Anker’s eufy brand debuts new MarsWalker – the ‘world’s first’ stair-climbing robot for your vacuum

Remember when the only thing it seemed like robot vacuums couldn’t do was just go up the stairs? They used to be really good at falling down the stairs, but then the engineers got pretty good at stopping them from doing that, and now, courtesy of Anker’s Eufy labs, there’s a new MarsWalker ready for prime time in 2026 that can literally walk your robot vacuum up the stairs for you. 

MarsWalker – the robot that carries robots up the stairs for you

As of right now, you for the most part have to lug your robo vac up the stairs on your own, or just buy two of them. But Eufy has now unveiled the new MarsWalker, a sort of carrier unit that your Eufy vacuum can dock itself in to hitch a ride up to the next story in your space. 

MarsWalker features four arms, or legs rather, that allow it to handle straight, U-shaped, and L-shaped sets of stairs. Once it has delivered your vac to the next floor, the vacuum can then carry out its typical duties, clean the floors, or head back to its charging station to clean out and juice up. 

If it wasn’t already clear here, the new MarsWalker is essentially a second robot for your home – it has its own charging station – it is designed to work with a series of different eufy robot vacuum units, including the new RoboVac Omni S2 that is set to launch in January 2026 at $1,599. 

Okay, so this is all pretty interesting stuff, it is the “world’s first stair-climbing robotic climbing platform” after all. But is it really just more of a gimmick than not? 

I guess it depends on what the price of the MarsWalker will be once Eufy announces it. In the end you’re just buying another arguably less capable robot here – you can just buy a second vacuum for the second floor couldn’t you?
