New MURAKAMI drop: Iconic FLOWERS motif set to adorn CASETiFY’s latest iPhone 17 gear

The next MURAKAMI drop has been revealed. CASETiFY is well known for its crossover projects with major IP, cultural institutions, pop culture franchises, and a whole lot more, but it has now officially announced a new MURAKAMI x CASETiFY Co-lab project that blurs the lines between “art history, pop culture, and personal expression” – a bunch of iPhone 17 cases covered in MURAKAMI FLOWERS.

Few motifs in contemporary art are as instantly recognizable – or as widely loved – as Takashi Murakami’s FLOWERS. Smiling from the walls of major galleries, splashed across luxury fashion collabs, and even starring in music videos by global superstars, FLOWERS has become a universal symbol of joy, color, and creativity.

The new TAKASHI MURAKAMI x CASETiFY collaboration is centered around the new FLOWERS BLOOM collection – a “celebration of the motif’s status as a cultural icon, now in a new range of product offerings and tech accessories.”

It, much like the rest of the CASETiFY Co-lab capsules, will feature a range of the brand’s products adorned with MURAKAMI’s iconic FLOWERS motif alongside a new “collectible twist with blind boxes.”

FLOWERS 18K GOLD Phone Case

Not just an accessory, but a wearable artwork. This ultra-rare design, found only through blind boxes, incorporates gold as a direct homage to the centuries-old Japanese tradition of gold foil, a theme Murakami often references to bridge historical aesthetics with pop culture.

Rainbow Camera Ring Edition

The detail is in the frame. By adorning the smartphone camera ring with rainbow-colored lettering, CASETiFY brings life to even the smallest touchpoints of digital culture.

FLOWERS Suitcase

Murakami’s blooms spill into the world of travel, transforming CASETiFY’s suitcases once again into a walking canvas, with flowers rippling across five vibrant colorways: Blue, Black, Red, Pink, and a brand-new Rainbow colorway.

Outside of these special edition pieces, MURAKAMI FLOWERS will also land on a wide range of gear across the CASETiFY ecosystem, “from chargers, AirPods cases, and charms, to the Signature Customization Program at CASETiFY Studios, where fans can co-create their own Murakami-inspired designs.”

As of right now, there are no visuals of the actual gear as far as well can tell – you’ll have to wait until the global launch on October 10. You’ll want to be ready to go on that day, chances are the best stuff will sell out quick.
