Update: The early Walmart Black Friday sale is now live!
The official Walmart Event 1 Black Friday sale starts tonight. While the competition has already kicked off its early sales, one of the biggest and most popular retailers at this time of year is finally set to officially launch its massive Black Friday sale in early access mode, and everything you need to know awaits below.

Walmart Event 1 Black Friday sale live tonight
As we detailed previously, Walmart will launch its first official Black Friday sale tonight. The sale will be open to everyone starting tonight at midnight ET (or 12:01 a.m. ET on November 14), but Walmart+ members will get a five hour head start beginning at 7 p.m. ET tonight.
With that said, it is also worth mentioning that Walmart+ memberships are actually 50% off right now – members will not only get early access to the Event 1 Black Friday sale that starts tonight, but also reap the rest of the benefits it comes along with. If last year’s Walmart Black Friday sale event is any indication, there is a good chance many of the wild Doorbusters on prime time tech could sell out before the sale even opens up to everyone else (or shortly thereafter).
