As part of its now live Black Friday Week sale event, Amazon is offering Razer’s Kishi Ultra USB-C controller grip for $79.99 shipped. This unit has gone for as much as $150 in recent months, though it’s been hovering around $105 at Amazon lately. Today’s 47% discount knocks $70 off the list price, putting it $25 below its usual going rate. It’s also $10 cheaper than the previous all-time low of $90 we recently saw at Woot. This is the lowest price we’ve tracked since its debut, so you may want to jump on it while the deal lasts.
The Kishi Ultra debuted last year as one of the more premium entries in Razer’s Kishi controller lineup, offering full USB-C support and improved compatibility with larger devices like the iPad mini 7. It comes equipped with Razer’s mecha-tactile 8-way D-pad, responsive face buttons, Hall effect triggers, and customizable controls. A feature worth pointing out here is support for the brand’s Sensa HD haptics, which adds to the overall immersion if Chroma RGB lighting alone isn’t doing it for you. There’s also USB-C connectivity here to ensure there’s little to no latency while gaming, and you can even connect it to other devices like laptops. You can check out our hands-on review for an in-depth look and detailed impressions of this controller.
Folks looking for alternatives can check out the Backbone Pro model that’s down to $135. This one also works with a wide range of devices, including iPhones and Android phones, and it’s down from its usual price of $170.
