As I’m sure you can imagine, and as we have reported on throughout the Black Friday and holiday season, most big-box retailers and warehouse grocery stores will remain open on Christmas Eve this year in hopes of securing some last-minute sales from last-minute shoppers. While getting gear shipped today isn’t going to be easy – there are some same-day delivery options, but even most those are going to require an early morning order and some Christmas luck – getting over to your local brick and mortar is going to be your safest bet.
Just be sure to take note of the adjusted holiday store hours below as most major stores are closing up a little earlier than normal today – it is always a good idea to call your local shop ahead of time if you’re not going to able to get until later in the afternoon.

As we detailed previously, Target officially announced adjusted holiday store hours this year with most locations open bright and early at 7 a.m. today and remaining open later than most of the competition until 8 p.m. It is also running a “Drive Up and Order Pickup” – you can place those orders up to 6 p.m. local time on Christmas Eve and still scoop them up by 8 p.m.

Costco might be one of the more useful stores to drop into today if you’re a member and have one nearby – it does have basically a little bit of everything after all. Store hours have been adjusted for Christmas Eve as most warehouse locations are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this year.
