Jackery is having a busy series of reveals at CES 2026, with most folks likely not surprised that the brand has launched its newest Explorer 1500 Ultra power station from the event, which brings along some significant upgrades for outdoor adventures. The brand is making even bigger waves, however, with the reveal of its new Solar Gazeebo that combines outdoor living with dual-purpose energy storage.
Now, unlike the Explorer 1500 Ultra, which launched alongside its unveiling, this Solar Gazeebo is not launching in the same manner, with Jackery claiming it’ll be available for purchase in the second half of 2026, but we have seen similar claims in past years from this and other brands on alternate devices that never made it to shipping, like the solar-powered rooftop tent that was shown at CES 2024, for example. Still, this monstrous endeavor is quite the ambitious step-up from the usual devices we see from power station companies, and is expected to start off somewhere between $12,000 and $15,000.
This Jackery Solar Gazeebo is an aluminum structure that stands 14 feet, 9.17 inches by 9 feet, 10.11 inches by 8 feet, 10.30 inches and comes decked out with 2,000W of solar panels. That’s not all, as the solar input is used to power its leisure-focused features, including integrated lighting, and a pair of weather-resistant AC outlets – plus there’s a convenient pull-down projector screen for movie nights.
Pairing this gazeebo with one of Jackery’s many power stations – especially the new Explorer 1500 Ultra model – turns it from an isolated self-powering living space into a full solar generator, allowing you to add appliances like a portable fridge, TV or projector, a sound/home theatre system, and more lighting for a number of hours at a time (depending on your total setup).
Of course, going with Jackery’s Explorer 5000 Plus options will score you the greatest backup power support and even extend it to the rest of your home, as that unit boasts an expandable capacity as high as 60,000Wh. We’ll have to wait and see if Jackery follows through with an official release later in 2026, though the brand is saying it will be given a 25-year warranty when it hits the market.
