After featuring a series of New Year deals on a range of its more affordable earbuds from $20, as well as this morning’s return to Black Friday pricing on the Headphone (1), the latest flagship Nothing Ear (3) buds are also now back at the lowest price we have tracked.
Much like we saw on the over-ears, Amazon is also running a limited-time Lightning deal on the Nothing Ear (3) ANC earbuds down at $149 shipped.
This is a regularly $179 set of the brand’s latest flagship earbuds at nearly 20% off to match the lowest price we have tracked at Amazon since release this past September.
Price drops have been relatively thin since then, with a couple very light drops ahead of the December holiday offer that had them at the same price we have here today.
While some (us included) came away relatively underwhelmed with the “Super Mic” feature that puts an additional mic on the charging case, the latest from Nothing still delivers that almost trademark aesthetic design and an otherwise notably upgraded case with a metal bottom. It’s basically a mic on the outside of the case you can use instead of the earbuds themselves, that happens to feel entirely superfluous to me, much like my guy Ben said in his hands-on review:
I think it’s completely pointless…To make this work, you need to be wearing at least one earbud and then be holding the case up to your mouth, all while being on a call. Again, the idea is to improve the audio quality, but what’s the point when you could… just use the phone??
All of that said, if you liked the previous-generation set, I think you’ll come away impressed and happy with what Nothing has delivered here with the series 3 variant.
