LEGO unveils 5 new Star Wars SMART Play sets, now available from $40

Just after the reveal of the new LOTR Sauron’s Helmet set, some new SMART Star Wars LEGO builds have arrived. While the three initial LEGO Star Wars Smart Play sets with the included Smart Bricks are still up for pre-order, today LEGO has unveiled a series of new Smart Play Star Wars sets: the new AT-ST Attack on Endor at $49.99, the Millennium Falcon at $99.99, the Mos Eisley Cantina at $79.99, Luke’s Landspeeder at $39.99, and Yoda’s Hut and Jedi Training at $69.99. But there is a one not so SMART caveat to consider with these new builds.

LEGO debuts 5 new Star Wars SMART Play sets today

Here are the first three sets that went up for pre-order shortly after LEGO unveiled its new SMART Play set:

  • Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter $70
  • Red Five X-wing $90
  • Throne Room + A-wing $160

These three sets include the complete SMART Play setup. Alongside the tradtional bricks that make up the majority of the build, they come with SMART minifigs, the SMART tag controller of sorts, and, most importantly, the actual SMART Brick.

The new Stars Wars LEGO SMART Play sets now available for purchase include the SMART minifigs and tags, but they do not include the SMART Brick (or its charger) to bring the action to life. You will, presumably, need one of the first three sets that debuted to actually score one of those and bring your galaxy far, far away to life.

Introducing the new AT-ST™ Attack on Endor LEGO® SMART Play™ Compatible set. Compatible sets are great for LEGO building on their own, but when combined with a SMART Brick from any All-in-One set, you can unlock the full potential of the SMART Play experience with builds that react to how you move and play

AT-ST Attack on Endor at $49.99

Millennium Falcon at $99.99

Mos Eisley Cantina at $79.99

Luke’s Landspeeder at $39.99

Yoda’s Hut and Jedi Training at $69.99
