The Galaxy S26 launch is quickly approaching with pre-orders set to go live in just a few days time. The usual no-obligation reservation offers are now live ahead of the official Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra reveals on February 25, but we also have some additional details to scope out to ensure you score the best possible price during the pre-order phase.
How to get the best deals Galaxy S26 pre-orders
Samsung can be quite generous when it comes to pre-orders on its latest S series Galaxy phones, and this year it will be again. Firstly let’s take a look at the official Reservation offers.
Scoring Samsung’s Galaxy S26 pre-order Reservation deals is simple. All you have to do is head over the official site and drop your email down ahead of time to ensure you score the extras. It is important to point out that, if this goes anything like last year, you might not actually need to get in on the Reserve to even score any of these offers, but we can’t say that with 100% certainty, so you might want to just in case:
- Score a FREE $30 credit towards bonus accessories – these usually include phone cases, Galaxy Watch models, and likely the new Galaxy Buds 4, among other things.
- Up to $900 in trade-in value – Samsung is promoting up to $900 off the new S26 devices with trade-ins. If this works anything like last year, you won’t actually have to Reserve to see this sort of value, but again, it’s hard to say for sure. Chances are the $900 off only applies to the most expensive S26 Ultra, and only with a relatively new device to flip, but there will nonetheless be a chance to save hundreds on all of the S26 devices with trade-ins directly from Samsung.com.
- Up to $150 off Galaxy S26 devices – Samsung has already said it will also be offering $150 cash discounts on Galaxy S26 devices but it does not appear to be promoting this on its Reservation page here in the U.S. We can’t say for sure if this will actually be the case when pre-order day arrives, or if it is indeed tied to Reservation sign-ups, but you likely don’t want to miss out here if it is.
Galaxy S26 FREE storage upgrade pre-order deals
Trafditionally speaking, Samsung usually offers some kind of FREE storage upgrade with pre-orders we can amount to something like $150 or $200 in savings – buy the 512GB model for the price of the 256GB model kind of thing. These sorts of offers can really help to double down on savings along with the FREE credit and other potential offers, so you’ll definitely want to keep an eye out for this.
As of right now, the U.S. Samsung site does not mention anything about FREE storage upgrade deals for the Galaxy S26, S26+, or S26 Ultra, but, as we reported previously, international S26 Reservation campaign pages specifically do. It is unclear at this point whether or not, we will see this offer in the U.S. or not – Samsung’s U.S. page just might not be as detailed, or it perhaps hasn’t decided whether or not it will offer this stateside yet.
If there is one thing that is indeed clear here though, it’s probably that you’ll want to check back with us when pre-orders go live before placing your order. Last year’s event resulted in loads of potential savings on bonus accessories, including everything from FREE Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Tabs at up to 85% off or more on top of the sort of savings detailed above, and these deals were not immediately obvious – Samsung presented loads of accessory add-on deals with last year’s S series pre-orders as part of the checkout process, but we uncovered much better offers in some cases.
There will of course be some additional deal opportunities when it comes to folks who qualify for EDU/EPP offers, but this is not going to be the case for everyone – we will have all of the details on these EDU/EPP discounts coming your way shortly for folks who can take advantage of them though.
