Journey’s new Qi2 25W SUMMIT ULTRA MagSafe station
I have tested out loads of Journey gear over the years and come away mostly quite impressed along the way. This, however, is its first major foray into the industry max standard 25W of wireless power over MagSafe. There is a standard 15W SUMMIT available as well, but it is the newer and more powerful model that caught my attention.
The new Journey SUMMIT ULTRA delivers a 3-in-1 setup with a main 25W MagSafe charging pad for your iPhone alongside a back-mounted Apple Watch charger (5W) and underneath its pyramid-like facade, a third wireless charger for AirPods (5W).
There’s also a touch-activated night light just above the AirPods charger from some ambient illumination too – you don’t see this on very much of the competition.
I like the aesthetics and compact vibe here, complete with the fabric-wrapped exterior that adds a touch of luxury to the overall look here.
