LEGO Pokémon minifigure set image leaks online ahead of reported 2026 reveal

LEGO just unleashed its first official Pokémon sets during the Pokémon 2026 festivities. But just after an official teaser for the first minifigure-scale Super Mario sets, a new leak has surfaced online suggesting we are in for some minifig pocket monsters as well.

Much like we have seen with LEGO’s relatively recent treatment of its collaboration with Nintendo, it looks like LEGO might be readying a transition from large-scale Pokémon builds down to pre-moulded minifig scale.

Up until the recent official teaser LEGO and Nintendo released, the only brick-built Mario sets contained those large scale Super Mario characters (brick-built instead of actual minifigures).

Those mini-scale Mario sets are not expected to officially debut until next year, and it might take even longer than that to see the mini Pokémon builds, but if the recent leak is indeed the real thing, you can expect your favorite (or at least the most popular and well known) pocket monsters to be getting the minifig treatment sooner than later.

The leak comes by way of the r/LegoNewsAndRumors sub Reddit, showing off a pre-moulded Eevee from an upcoming Poké Ball set. This particular set is is apparently going to see the light of day in some way shape or form on August 1 and is rumored to be a very pricey build at $260 and is said to contain 2,239 pieces, according to reports

We, of course, cannot corroborate any of this, but it certainly wouldn’t be the first time one of these sets and the details for it leaked well ahead of time (almost all of them do in some way shape or form).
