The latest Sony XM6 over-ear ANC headphones are out there, and currently $60 off at Amazon, but the previous XM5 set is still a wonderful pair of cans and B&H is offering a deep one-day deal today at $162 off.
As part of its DealZone for today only, B&H is offering the Sony WH-1000XM5 Noise-Canceling Wireless Over-Ear Headphones down at $238 shipped – they will drop an additional $40 in the cart during checkout. This will only be live for another 9 hours (until roughly 6 p.m. ET tonight).
The XM5 set still carries a $400 list price – compared to the $459 list on the newer XM6 – and are currently marked down to $278 on Amazon. That’s the same price you’ll see on B&H right now until you add them to the cart for an additional $40 off.
For the record, the XM5 dropped to $248 for Black Friday last year and have never sold for less at Amazon.
The XM6 have a few new additions to the mix, including a foldable design and a sweet new magnetic case to stow the headphones away. The ANC is a touch better, but the XM5 sound just as good to my ears and are now a whole lot less expensive for today only.
