Amazon Big Spring Sale is the first major Amazon sale event of the year. It has become an annual sale that tends to take place in late March for what has become the biggest sale event in the early part of the year – a few months after the end of year holidays and a few months before the year’s first Prime Day event. While sales like the fall Prime Day sale and Black Friday are typically not even a month apart, the Big Spring Sale stands on its own in many ways, offering what has become the best chance to save on everything from tech to apparel ahead of the major summer sale events.
When is the big Amazon spring sale?
It takes place annually near the end of March. In 2026, the Amazon Big Spring Sale goes live on March 256 and runs right through until end of day on March 31.

This year Amazon’s Big Spring Sale starts on March 25 at 12:01 a.m. PT/3:01 a.m. ET.
Is the Amazon spring sale only for Prime members?
The short answer is no. Unlike Prime Day, the Big Spring Sale is available to all. That said, there tends to be some Prime member exclusive deals scattered throughout the sale and we expect this year will be much of the same.
Is the Amazon Big Spring Sale any good? Does it actually have good deals?
The short answer is yes, but it, of course always depends on what you’re looking for. We are already tracking loads of big time price drops and one thing to seriously consider is how long you’re will to wait for a better price. Will the price drop on that one thing even lower at Black Friday later this year? Maybe, yes, maybe no, but you will be waiting the nearly a year to find out.
