LEGO reveals three new Toy Story sets for pre-order ahead of the fifth franchise movie release

Alongside our recent roundup of 15 new LEGO sets that hit the market this morning, we’re now getting an exciting reveal of three new LEGO sets for the Disney and Pixar theme – all of them giving us some long-overdue Toy Story sets. Fans won’t have to wait very long to get their hands on these new sets, with all three also able to secure right now with pre-orders. Head below to learn more about them and browse through all the collected photos.

These three new LEGO Disney and Pixar sets all come as brick-built recreations of iconic characters from the Toy Story franchise – two of which are ones who debuted in the very first movie and the other being from the third – plus, they’re all hitting shelves ahead of the upcoming Toy Story 5 movie that is slated for a June 2026 release.

First, we have the 43301 Toy Story Slinky Dog Bookends set that is the only 18+ build amongst the group, and it is a delightful 1,131-piece recreation of Slinky with some added functionality for bookworms. The character is split into two parts, with a purple book and a blue book to attach at the spring sections, letting you use it as book ends for your shelf/library. If you’d prefer to keep him in one piece as a display item instead, that is also a possible configuration. What’s more, there are even Woody and Slinky minifigures that have dedicated hidden compartments within the books.

Next up is the 43306 Lotso set that recreates the antagonist from the third movie (AKA Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear), which does standout as the other two are characters who have been around since the beginning. Stacking up to 570 pieces, this is a more simple build that brings along plenty of posable action in his arms, legs, hands, and face, not to mention the walking stick that can be removed if preferred. True to his character, this set has a warm and welcoming face until you readjust the eyebrows to reveal more sinister intentions.

Lastly, we have my favorite of the three, the 43307 Alien with Pizza Planet Rocket Ride set – as I will always love the nostalgia from hearing “The Claw!” from the first movie. Stacking up to 714 pieces, not only do you get the adorable alien, but also the bonus of him riding the Pizza Planet coin-operated rocket ride. Like the above model, there is some articulation here with the arms, hands, feet, and head – plus some added decor to set the scene, like a pizza slice, and “Sid wuz here” graffiti on the side of the coin slot box. There’s even a little crank that, when turned, will have the rocket ride bob up and down.

All three of these new LEGO sets are set to hit shelves on May 1, 2026, and they can all be secured with a pre-order purchase today.
