The LEGO Group is not joking around right out of the April gates, as we’ve already had the newest wave of 15 LEGO sets followed up by the reveal of three new Toy Story builds, and now things are taking a turn towards the World Cup, which officially starts in a few weeks. Not only is the LEGO Group adding some soccer legends to its LEGO Editions theme as minifigures, but we’re also getting some buildable figures, and a massive and gorgeous 1,427-piece wall art, too – all available to pre-order ahead of their releases! We’re only a few weeks until the World Cup begins, and LEGO is building upon the buzzing excitement with its latest reveal of nine LEGO Editions sets of popular players. To start, we’re getting minifigures and dynamic base displays of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé, and Vinícius Júnior – plus, some posable figure sets and a Lionel Messi wall art set that sadly comes a month behind the rest. Most of these new LEGO Editions sets will be hitting the market on May 1, 2026, however, as I previously stated, the most impressive of them (in my opinion), the 43018 Lionel Messi – Celebration will be taking the field on June 1, 2026.
