LEGO unveils six new One Piece sets for pre-order + animated special announcement video

Right on the heels of yesterday’s seven new LEGO Jurassic World unveilings for pre-order, the LEGO Group is coming back with another wave of reveals today for one of its newest themes (and one of my all-time favorite stories): One Piece! That’s right, the Gum-Gum Fruit set that was revealed in March won’t be the only one to get excited about over summer, as it’s being joined by six new builds based on the second season that recently came out – and you can pre-order all of them right now. But the buzz isn’t ending there, as we also have a LEGO One Piece animated special announcement video for you to watch, too. Head below to learn all the info and browse through the collected photos.

As a long-time reader of the One Piece manga since 1997, I cannot express just how happy I am to see both the live-action adaptation doing so well, bringing more people into the story, but also to see this new theme that started last year gradually building up further and further as we get deeper into things narratively. In my opinion, the One Piece manga by Eiichiro Oda is one of the greatest fictional narratives ever told in human history, having become a global phenomenon in its nearly 29-year run.

If you enjoyed last year’s season 1 sets, you’re sure to get just as much excitement with these season 2 counterparts, which expand to fan-favorites like Tony Tony Chopper and Vice Admiral Garp – and the best part is, just like the live-action adaptation, Eiichiro Oda also had a hand in these sets’ designs.

Alongside the Gum-Gum Fruit, all seven upcoming LEGO One Piece sets will be hitting the market on August 1, 2026, with you able to secure yours today via pre-order purchases.

As I mentioned, Netflix has also dropped a LEGO One Piece animated special announcement ahead of its upcoming debut on September 29, 2026, which you can watch right here:
