ECOVACS debuts new flagship X12 OmniCyclone robotic cleaner with ‘industry-first FocusJet’ tech

Today, ECOVACS – one of our favorite robotic cleaning brands – is unleashing its new newest flagship robot vacuum and mop, the DEEBOT X12 OmniCyclone. 

DEEBOT says the latest X12 “reimagines robotic floor care for the realities of everyday living” by way of a “smarter, more proactive approach to cleaning, combining powerful suction, intelligent stain treatment, and advanced automation to deliver a deeper clean with less effort.”

The new model features what the brand calls industry-first FocusJet Stain Pre-Dissolving technology. This next-gen mopping action treats “messes before they’re cleaned” with infrared and camera-based detection that “can automatically identify dried-on stains and respond in real time” – it will deploy water jets to pre-soften the mess before its upgraded OZMO Roller Mop 3.0 gets in there to finish the job. 

A 32-channel pressurized spray system continuously rinses the mop as it cleans to prevent “dirty-on-dirty” mopping while maintaining even pressure “throughout each pass, reducing streaks and delivering a more polished, consistent finish across hard floors.” This joins its ability to lift the mop with a Mop Roller Smart Cover that better help to keep carpets dry when transitioning from floor surface types without interrupting the cleaning job. 

The upgraded mopping system also sits alongside another key features like PowerBoost Charging Plus – “a fast-charging system that allows the robot to quickly recharge and resume cleaning without long interruptions” – the brand’s TruEdge 3.0 Adaptive Edge Cleaning to get in those heard to reach areas, and what it calls a “truly hands-free” OMNI station:
