Apple’s new 15-inch 1TB M5 MacBook Air is $150 off right now, more

We have had a strong run of deals on Apple’s brand new M5 MacBook Air lineup since launch. While many of the configurations have now jumped back up in price, we are still tracking all four colors of the 1TB 13-inch model at all-time low pricing and this morning we are highlighting the remaining deals on the 24GB 15-incher – all but the Starlight model are live today at $150 off the list price.

Amazon is serving up the brand new 15-inch M5 MacBook Air with 24GB of RAM and the 1TB SSD down at $1,549 shipped. Regularly $1,699, this is a straight up $150 price drop and the lowest price we can find.

Today’s deal represents the lowest price we have tracked at Amazon or any other reputable authorized source online since the new M5 Air lineup landed last month.

I think it’s safe to say this particular configuration is about as spec’d out and upgraded as you’ll want to go when it comes to the MacBook Air lineup. Anything more than this will put you up into a price range close enough to potentially warrant a MacBook Pro purchase instead.

There are certainly more affordable M5 Airs you can buy, but if you’re looking towards a future-proofed 2026 MacBook purchase with some relatively powerful specs, this is about as good as it gets before you want might to use that money towards a pro machine, if you ask me. A 36GB 1TB M5 Air is $1,899 and a 36GB 2TB is more than the price of the M5 Pro MacBook Pro – it’s also worth considering that Amazon doesn’t carry these machines and you’ll likely have to pay full price for them.
