TCL has just launched its spring 2026 Google smart TV lineup with a pair of new SQD-Mini LED models and its latest RM9L RGB-Mini LED variant with some giant discounts. All three are now available for purchase and we are tracking some giant launch discounts at Best Buy ranging from $200 off all the way up to $2,000 off the list prices.
We have the new TCL QM7L and QM8L Series models starting from $999.99 with the launch deals. You’ll find as much as $1,000 slashed from the MSRPs at Best Buy right now – the larger the size the deeper the discount, as per usual
- TCL Class QM7L Series 4K UHD HDR SQD-Mini LED Smart TV from $1,000 (Up to $1,000 off list)
- TCL Class QM8L Series 4K UHD HDR SQD-Mini LED Smart TV from $1,800 (Up to $1,000 off list)
…the foundation of TCL’s new SQD-Mini LED technology in its QM8L is the advanced CSOT WHVA 2.0 Ultra Panel. The W is for Wide Color Viewing Angle, HVA provides High Static Contrast (up to 7,000:1), Ultra adds the unique ZeroBorder** and an Anti-Reflective Layer that helps increase contrast, and 2.0 is for the new TCL Deep Color System – a three part system with Super Quantum Dots, the CSOT UltraColor Filter, and the Advanced Color Purity Algorithm. TCL also upgraded to the TSR AI Pro Processor for its most powerful scene-by-scene AI image control.

- TCL RM9L Series 4K UHD HDR RGB-Mini LED Smart TV from $6,000 (Up to $2,000 off list) – coming soon
RGBMini LED uses dedicated red, green, and blue LEDs to generate rich color. This approach enables pure color wavelengths with 100% BT2020 color *. The TCL RM9L takes that further with the CSOT UltraColor Filter for more consistent color saturation and a new 30-bit *3 backlight controller as part of a 120-bit Color System, with shadowless uniform light support and shadow detail optimization, for unmatched color that allows exceptionally finegrained control over each RGB channel. This kind of precision is especially noticeable on extralarge cinematic screen sizes.
While we generally like to recommend previous-generation, or last year’s models, when it comes to TVs like this simply because of the deals (the prices on these TVs here today will more than likely just be the regular price in 6 months or less from now), folks looking to land one of these bad boys at launch certainly do not want to pay full price when you can land them for a whole lot less at Best Buy right now.
My guy Ben over at 9to5Google has even more details on these models for you right here.
