Govee is a popular smart lighting brand that tends to have more reasonable pricing, and the brand is launching three new entries into its popular floor lamp series this morning – the Floor Lamp 3 (as well as a Lite variant) and the Lantern Floor Lamp. The former of these two is taking the mantle of Govee’s latest flagship lighting device, with color reproduction powered by LuminBlend+ color management tech, while the former is bringing along a “first-of-its-kind” Halo Gradient lighting experience to a more lantern-focused form factor. Govee Floor Lamp 3 with more accurate pastel and natural color

One of the biggest news about Govee’s new Floor Lamp 3 is the improvements made to its pastel and natural color reproductions, beating out all its predecessors, according to the brand. It’s arriving powered by the self-developed LuminBlend+ tech, which renders warm sunset tones and cool ocean hues alike – all with zero color branding, even when set to 1% brightness. It brings along a 1,000K–10,000K tunable white range, with a single one of these lamps able to recreate the full spectrum of natural daylight.

This new model has been given a rear dual-sided light emission design that expands its washing angle up to 170 degrees over past lamps, giving walls significantly more coverage. Producing up to 2,100 lumens, it can illuminate up to 645 square feet of space, which is enough to wash a typical open-plan living room, among other spaces you might want to set it up in.

There is an ultra-dense array of LEDs, too, with 144 RGB and 144 warm-cool white LEDs here for double the density of those that came before it. This new setup is sure to eliminate hotspots, while an optimized bead-to-diffuser distance ratio delivers more even illumination at every angle.

There is an all-new aluminum alloy unibody design with its signature dual-ring illuminated base, which comes as a standalone ambient light that will glow regardless of whether you have it on or off.

Govee Lantern Floor Lamp brings “first-of-its-kind” ambiance

As I mentioned briefly, the new Govee Lantern Floor Lamp is introducing the market to the brand’s Halo Gradient Lighting, which also comes powered by LuminBlend+ tech like the above model. This is a “soft, ring-shaped gradient glow” that recreates natural light phenomena, providing an effect akin to seeing a warm-to-cool transition of a setting sun or an ethereal shimmer of cherry blossoms filling any space with gentle color – all from one device.

There are some other specific standout features here, like the adjustable color range. It produces up to 1,400 lumens (from 1,000K to 10,000K), giving you both functional brightness levels for activities like reading, as well as more immersive ambiance to relax or vibe out in – all covering up to 320 square feet of space.

There’s a tap-to-switch function here, letting a simple tap on the top of it cycle through its lighting effects, all without any app needing to be used.
