Now even lower: Land some rare black Apple USB-C cables from $6.50 a pop today

You might not actually know it, unless you’re an iPad Pro users or something like that, but Apple does make official black USB-C cables. You can’t buy them straight from Apple like the standard white models, but Woot has a load of them down at $10 a pop (or less if you buy two or three), and you can save an extra 10% on them today.

We have tracked these deals a couple times now at Woot. It is essentially the only place to buy the somewhat elusive black Apple USB-C cables, and especially considering the prices here – everything ships free with a Prime membership, but you’ll get hit with a $6 shipping fee otherwise:

Again, this is the same price we featured last go around, but if you checkout in the Woot app today you can knock an additional 10% off. That delivers the single cable at $8.99 or as low as $6.60 on the three pack.

They aren’t the fastest cables out there, but they are the real thing and a great option if you need some extras and prefer the black colorway – the white models are also on sale on the same page too.

This 1-meter charge cable is made with a woven design — with USB-C connectors on both ends — and is ideal for charging, syncing, and transferring data between USB-C devices. It supports charging of up to 60 watts and transfers data at USB 2 rates. Pair the USB-C Charge Cable with a compatible USB-C power adapter to conveniently charge your devices from a wall outlet and take advantage of fast-charging capabilities. USB-C power adapters sold separately.

More details from Woot on how they managed to get ahold of these:

This product is BRAND NEW and comes to us directly from Apple. It will however arrive in a polybag & plain brown box.

Why, you ask? Because these are excess units and Apple decided to liquidate them to wholesale instead of packaging them for Retail sale.
