If you’ve already checked out my hands-on review, then you’re likely aware that both my older/disabled parents and I have been loving the Beatbot Sora 70 robot since we opened the pool back in April. While the more Premium AquaSense 2 robots (which you can find below) do bring along more advanced features, the Sora 70 is a great way to maintain almost all of your pool – floors, walls, waterline, water surface, and lower steps (those under 8 inches of water) – while saving a lot more money.
It houses a 10,000mAh battery that provides tons of runtime. For context, we’ve had ours run for four hours at most, sometimes for two or three cycles, hitting all the various levels of the pool, and it still has around half a battery of juice leftover, with it rated for up to seven hours on each charge. Like other more premium robots, this model conveniently returns to the pool’s edge and floats there once it’s all done cleaning, making it easier to remove.
