Wild $150 Prime Day price drop on AirPods Max 2 starting to disappear, get in there while you can (All-time low)

We are not even half way through Prime Day 2026, and one of the best deals is already starting to sell out. While the AirPods Pro 3 deal is still live at $179 (one of the best deals ever), if you’re even mildly considering grabbing a pair of Apple’s AirPods Max 2 you’ll want to do it soon – the wild $150 price drop is almost entirely out of stock.

Amazon is still currently offering the latest AirPods Max 2 that launched a few moths ago at the lowest price ever. You can score the $549 flagship Apple over-eras down at $399 shipped right now, but it looks like it might not be around for much longer.

That’s $150 pff the list price and a, frankly, wild price drop. Catching these things at $100 off or even $120 off would be notable, but Amazon decided to get particularly aggressive here with Max 2 for Prime Day 2026 and the deal is naturally starting to disappear.

There is, of course, a chance we see more stock return before Prime Day wraps up late Friday night, but there’s no way to know for sure. It wouldn’t be uncommon for Amazon to find more stock and bring them back at a higher price – this is indeed what we saw it do with AirPods Pro 3 more than a couple times over the last week or so. And considering how deep the deal is right now, if Max 2 comes back they might be a lot more expensive.

We will keep this quick so everyone interested has a shot to go score the all-time low, but as of the time of writing only the Space Black and Orange sets are still down at the $399 all-time low – get in there while you can.
