The credit tends to only be available for use on add-on accessories, like cases or towards a set of buds or a Galaxy Watch, but Samsung also tends to offer bundle discounts on top of the credit as well so it can really stack up, not to mention FREE storage upgrades on the phone itseld which can be worth hundreds. It would not be uncommon to see something like the latest Galaxy buds offered at a giant discount when bundled with the new Galaxy phone pre-orders during the launch phase.
While the trade-in credit can sometimes make purchases ineligible for some straight up cash/accessory add-on deals, that is not always the case, and we will just have to wait and see how things shake out tomorrow morning.
