Price hike or otherwise, deals on MacBook Neo have been all but non-existent. And while the price of the machine has gone up, it remains the most affordable current-generation MacBook you can buy and there are ways to save right now – Best Buy is offering a FREE $25 gift card with brand new units as part of its latest Apple Shopping Event and you can score them at up to $120 off via the Apple Certified Refurbished Store.
Best Buy launched a wide-ranging 4-day Apple Shopping Event yesterday, and while select gear is lower at Amazon, it does have the best deal going on brand new MacBook Neo models right now:

However, the price right now is being served up over at the official Apple Certified Refurbished Store. The price on these machine did just go up, but if you’re looking to score one at the lowest price around, this is the place to be:
- Apple Refurbished MacBook Neo 256GB $599 (Reg. $699 new)
- Apple Refurbished MacBook Neo 512GB w/ Touch ID $679 (Reg. $799 new)
The 256GB model is clearly just dropping back down to the former MSRP and the 512GB is now $20 less than the old list price, but it is what it is and the price hikes aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
