Amazon just revealed its all-new Alexa Tablets. The new tablets feature ”world-class hardware, personalized intelligence from Alexa+, full Google Play Store access,” and are now available for purchase from $230.

They seamlessly connect your Amazon experiences right out of the box, run Android, and come with access to the full Google Play Store

All-new Amazon Android Alexa Tablets

  • Amazon Alexa Tablet 8 from $230
  • Amazon Alexa Tablet 11 from $330
  • Amazon Alexa Tablet 12 Pro from $500
  • Amazon Alexa Tablet Pro Pen with Eraser and Pen Finder $90
  • Amazon Alexa Tablet Pro Detachable Keyboard with Trackpad and Alexa Key $150

All three models are now available for purchase from $230 and will begin shipping on October 14.

This is not just an updated lineup of Fire HD tablets, but rather the introduction of Amazon Alexa Tablets – an “all-new lineup of tablets that combine powerful hardware, the intelligence of Alexa+, and built-in access to all your favorite apps with Google Play Store.”

The lineup consists of three models: Amazon Alexa Tablet 12 Pro, Amazon Alexa Tablet 11, and Amazon Alexa Tablet 8.

Each of the new models includes a premium aluminum unibody construction, high-resolution displays, and the ability to run Android, “connect your Amazon experiences right out of the box,” and access “millions of apps including YouTube, Netflix, Gmail, and Google Docs, alongside built-in Amazon apps including Prime Video, Kindle, Audible, Amazon Music, Amazon Quick and Amazon Luna.”

The Amazon Alexa Tablet 12 Pro is the flagship model, featuring 6.5mm thin, super lightweight form-factor, a 12-inch, 280 PPI display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 3:2 aspect ratio with two display options: “a vibrant standard display, and a cutting-edge Nanomatte display with anti-glare.”

It is powered by a 4nm 8-core chip with up to 16GB of RAM and delivers “nearly three times faster processing and nine times faster graphics than any tablet” Amazon has ever shipped. Quad Dolby Atmos speakers, Wi-Fi 6E, and 16 hours of video playbackare also in the mix here.

These tablets also deliver a Kindle action for the very first time:

With Amazon Alexa Tablets, the best of that experience comes to tablets for the first time—open a book in the Kindle app and the device transforms into a distraction-free reading sanctuary. Notifications go silent, blue light is reduced, and battery life stretches up to 20 hours. Three display themes let you choose your look—from subtle warmth with natural color, to a softened paper tone, to pure grayscale. The Nanomatte display takes it further: razor-sharp text, a paper-like feel, and readability in any light. Plus, you can highlight, underline, write notes, and markup pages directly with the Pro Pen.
