LEGO unveils 2,269-piece Batman Returns Batmobile with splitting action + new minifigure cowl design

LEGO is giving DC fans a reason to be excited for the coming month, as it has unveiled the large-scale 76355 Batman Returns Batmobile based on the vehicle from the 1992 Tim Burton movie. It won’t be a very long wait before you can get your hands on one and expand your DC-themed collection, so head down below to get a more in-depth look at what you can expect from this 2,269-piece build, complete with collected pictures.

Stacking up to 2,269 pieces, the new 76355 Batman Returns Batmobile set is a favorite among many fans of the franchise, especially those of us who grew up with the Tim Burton-helmed movies, with this new set bringing as much nostalgia along as it does some nice, detailed brickwork. Not to mention, there’s a bonus transformation function that opens it up to launch a Batmissile, mirroring the iconic scene when we got a look at such action. Unfortunately, despite that movie having some equally iconic actors playing some of the most iconic versions of villains (Danny Devito as Penguin, Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman), we are only getting a single Batman minifigure, though it does come with a new cowl that drapes down over the suit.

As I mentioned, you won’t have to wait very long to start building up your very own 76355 Batman Returns Batmobile set, as it will be hitting the market on September 1, 2026, for LEGO Insiders, and September 4, 2026, for general release, carrying a $229.99 price tag.
