Sony announces official release and pre-order dates for its new PS5/PC wireless speakers

Nearly a year ago now, Sony official unveiled the all-new Pulse Elevate – its “first wireless gaming speakers” for PS5, PC, Mac, and PlayStation Portal. And today it is finally revealing the release date and pre-order launch.

The new Sony Pulse Elevate mark its first foray into a dedicated gaming speaker of this sort, but these things are really just a versatile set of conical desktop speakers you can use for your console rig, PC battlestation, or just for your Mac.

Alongside the included charging docks and support for multi-device connectivity, they also feature what Sony refers to as AI-enhanced noise rejection – they can transition from a voice chat experience into a” desktop gaming setup with a microphone integrated within the right speaker.”

We have been waiting for quite while on an actual release date for the new Pulse Elevate, but the wait is official over as Sony has updated its reveal coverage and X feed to announce that its new speakers will be releasing on September 12, 2026, just after pre-orders go live on September 1.

Update (August 18, 2026): Pulse Elevate wireless speakers in Midnight Black and White will launch starting on November 12, 2026,* with a recommended retail price (RRP) of $219.99 USD | €219.99 EURO | £199.99 GBP | ¥37,980 JPY (including tax).
