XBOX is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a fresh lineup of special-edition accessories, and there’s a pretty wide mix of gear in the collection. The new Designed for XBOX 25th Anniversary Collection is now up for pre-order, with several of the products leaning heavily into the translucent green look of the original XBOX – matching the look of the XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition console and controller that were revealed earlier. Razer has three accessories in the lineup, starting with the Basilisk V3 Pro 35K XBOX 25th Anniversary Edition. It keeps the same ergonomic wireless design as the regular model, along with Razer’s Focus Pro 35K Gen2 Optical Sensor, a four-way scroll wheel, RGB lighting, and up to 140 hours of wireless battery life. There’s also a matching BlackWidow V4 75% keyboard, complete with hot-swappable switches and Chroma RGB. The anniversary version gets an exclusive XBOX key that can launch Game Bar directly, which is a nice little touch.
The third Razer product is the Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed, a pair of wireless earbuds with both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Razer says the earbuds can deliver up to 10 hours of use on their own, with the charging case pushing total battery life to 35 hours. It also offers SmartSwitch Dual Wireless functionality for quickly jumping between 2.4GHz and Bluetooth devices.
8BitDo is getting in on the anniversary celebration as well with an Ultimate Charging Dock for XBOX controllers finished in translucent green. It works with both XBOX Series X|S and XBOX One wireless controllers, making it one of the simpler additions to the collection but also one of the better-looking ones if you’re after that original XBOX aesthetic.
Backbone’s contribution is a bit more unusual. The Backbone Pro XBOX 25th Anniversary Edition comes in three heritage finishes – Iconic Blue, Bold Orange, and Crystal Clear – but it’s being sold in a blind-box format, so you won’t know which version you’re getting until you open it.
PowerA has a new XBOX Sling Bag designed to carry the ROG XBOX Ally and Ally X, while GameSir rounds out the lineup with an X5 Lite for XBOX in translucent green. The X5 Lite is officially XBOX licensed, Apple MFi certified, and works across both iOS and Android devices.
