As part of today’s 2026 summer Xbox Games Showcase, the new XBOX 25th Anniversary Console and Controller have been revealed ahead of launch this November.
XBOX Series X25
In celebration of 25 years of Xbox, Microsoft is introducing the new XBOX 25th anniversary collection. It is inspired by the “look and feel of the original XBOX console, both the console and controller feature a translucent OG Green design, with subtle tributes to the journey we’ve been on together.”
This is very much the same Xbox Series X you already know, but for the first time it will carry an OG green translucent livery alongside 1TB of storage and a light-up “X” logo – “a nod to the original XBOX start up.”

It, as you can see above, also comes with an Xbox Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition[CL5.1] in the same translucent OG Green with the original ABXY colors as well as “bumpers honoring the original black and white buttons on the original Duke controller.” The back case and battery door “are fully transparent, revealing the classic XBOX logo.”

The console and the controller will be available as a package “in select markets as a limited edition collection in November,” but the XBOX Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition will also be available separately.
Xbox says it will have more to share on “pricing and preorder availability at select retailers soon.”
