Rare deals/$297

As part of Amazon’s ongoing fall Prime Day sale, Meta’s 128GB Quest 3S headset is back down to $297 shipped. This model originally launched at $300 before jumping to $350 earlier this year, and we last saw it fall to this $297 low back in June. It hasn’t seen any discounts since then, and today’s deal brings that best price back, taking $53 off the current going rate and matching the lowest we’ve tracked since the price hike. The 256GB model is also seeing a solid discount at $382 shipped, down from the $450 price it has been fetching lately. Head below for more details on both offers.

Deals on the Quest 3S are pretty rare outside of major sale events or refurb listings, so this is a good chance to grab one if you’ve been waiting for a price drop. It uses the same Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip and Touch Plus controllers as the standard Quest 3, so you’re still getting much of the same gaming and mixed-reality experience for less. Battery life is also rated a little longer, and the discounted listing include a three-month Meta Horizon+ trial along with a free month of Game Pass for new users.

Best Buy is also matching this Quest 3S deal right now as part of its ongoing Techtober Sale. You’ll find plenty of other gaming peripherals and battlestation upgrades discounted there as well, so it’s worth checking out the wider sale if you haven’t already.

Best Buy’s massive Techtober Sale now live at up to $1,000 off: Gaming PCs, laptops, and other battlestation upgrades from just $5
