Black Friday is coming and there’s going to be plenty of deals on the way. However, so is winter and so is Halloween, and so is the launch of Apple’s all-new home collection gear. Chances are we won’t be seeing any major discounts on the new HomeView and Siri remote, and I just don’t want take the chance of waiting on some picks for the upcoming fall and winter festivities – here’s some of the gear I have In My Cart right now.
Apple HomeView
This is one of those brand new releases that might not see a deep deal for Black Friday and I am very intrigued here. I love the idea of having my “life” in a centralized place in the home and I don’t love having to carry my phone around with me at all times of day in the house to get at it all. I am still in the process of a total HomeKit/Matter overhaul, I have a feeling the new HomeView is going to be a joy to use once I have. Amazon is also delivering a nice little pre-order deal right now too.
Next-generation Apple Siri Remote
I was about as shocked as most when I saw that $299 price tag on the new Apple TV 4K, and as much as I want one, I think I’m going to hold out for now in favor of a nice Siri Remote with Find My action upgrade at $59 instead.
Anker’s new Nano Neo 45W/60W dynamic charger
The old charger collection is starting to get a bit old around here, and I love the idea of the dynamic power output on these new Anker models (at half the price of the slightly less powerful Apple model too).
Greenworks snow blower
Winter is coming, and I might not be ready for it. I’m still torn here – I like the idea of forcing myself to get some honest exercise in with a good ol’ shovel, but I know I’m going to regret it in mid February and these snow blower deals are starting to ramp up just in time. I don’t know If I’m willing to spend EGO Power+ money on one, but there are some great deals live on Greenworks models for a fraction of the price right now – this is the one I have In My Cart.
Halloween Candy
I’m not about to let the trick or treaters have all of the fun later this month. As much as I don’t love stuffing my face with this over-processed garbage, this is the time of year when it happens, and there’s more than enough to share with the neighborhood ghouls and ghosts in this 200-pack.
