Lock your Apple TV 4K pre-order discount in now before delivery times slip into late December

Everyday that goes by, delivery times for the new Apple TV 4K begin to slip further into November and even December in some locations. Unlike some of its HomeView listings, Amazon’s Apple TV 4K listing is not estimating time of arrival until pre-orders are placed at this point. It still appears to be shipping it faster than Apple to some locations, and at a lower price though.

Amazon still has the new Apple TV 4K sitting down at $289.99. That’s clearly not a giant deal, but it is lower than Apple and perhaps enough reason to pre-order at Amazon despite the delivery delay.

Some users are reporting that shipping times at Amazon have also slipped into late November and December at this point, and we are seeing that in some places of the country as well. But it also appears to be getting them out faster than Apple in some regions as well.

As of right now, Apple is listing pre-order deliveries at between November 30 and December 7. This is usually an accurate estimate when it comes to Apple’s deliveries so you can use this data to compare against Amazon, the problem is you’ll have to wait until after your pre-order is placed at Amazon to find out at this point.

Amazon is charging a touch less, and it might ship it faster than Apple still, but only in select locations and you’ll have to place an order and then cancel it to try your hand at Apple.

Nonetheless, orders are well delayed just about everywhere now and you’ll want to get in there as soon as possible if you’re looking to score the new Apple TV before mid-December or later.
