Logitech has added a new wireless gaming mouse to its catalog called the Logitech G309, featuring the tried-and-tested HERO 25K sensor. Now up for purchase on Amazon at $79.99, the new Logitech G309 comes in both black and white colorways, and the company says this mouse can can deliver up to 600 hours of gameplay on a regular Bluetooth connection, or up to 300 hours of low-latency 1ms LIGHTSPEED gameplay on a single AA battery.
Logitech G309 gaming mouse is compatible with Powerplay wireless charging system
The highlight of Logitech G309 LIGHTSPEED is that it’s also compatible with the company’s POWERPLAY charging system, meaning you can pair it with a Powerplay charging mat that’s down to $111 shipped today and use it without the AA battery for pretty much unlimited power. The G309 LIGHTSPEED weighs 86 grams when used in the normal mode with the AA battery, but ditching the AA battery drops its weight down to 68 grams, making it even lighter and ideal for competitive games.
As far as the features are concerned, the Logitech G309 gaming mouse comes with the flagship HERO 25K sensor, which supports a 1ms report rate, 400 IPS tracking, and up to 25,600 DPI sensitivity. It also comes with the same optical mechanical switches as the ones inside the Logitech G Pro X SUPERLIGHT 2 wireless gaming mouse. Unlike that one, however, the new G309 LIGHTSPEED carries a relatively affordable $80 price tag. We suggest bundling it with a Logitech Powerplay mat for the best experience.
