Upgrade your setup with Apple’s official full-size black Magic Keyboard down at $177 today

Reg. $199 $177

Deals on the official Apple Magic Keyboard in black don’t come around all that often, so whenever we see it dip below the regular $199 at all we ensure it is front and center for folks. Amazon is now offering the full-size Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad in black down at $176.99 shipped. Regularly $199, this is within roughly $6 of the best price we have tracked all year to deliver the lowest price we can find. For comparison’s sake, Best Buy has this one on sale for $180 right now.

Just so we are on the same page, today’s deal is really only notable for the black keys model – the standard white and silver variant fetches $172 on Amazon right now and regularly sells for $179. Today’s deal is specifically folks looking to score the darker keys – it is otherwise the exact same keyboard.

Unfortunately, the matching black Apple Trackpad and Magic Mouse aren’t seeing particularly notable deals right now, despite sitting under the MSRPs, to complete the package.

The Magic Keyboard comes complete with Touch ID and the add-on numeric keypad on the right hand side – “document navigation controls for quick scrolling and full-size arrow keys.” It pairs automatically with your Mac and includes a woven cable for charging.

If you’re looking for something similar that is even less pricey, I highly recommend Logitech’s solid metal MX Keys S for Mac. After getting hands-on with the latest model a few months ago, I haven’t turned back (I’m typing on it right now), and you can score one of these on Amazon for $98 right now.

Apple Black Magic Keyboard features:

Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad delivers a remarkably comfortable and precise typing experience. It features an extended layout, with document navigation controls for quick scrolling and full-size arrow keys, which are great for gaming. It’s wireless and rechargeable, with an incredibly long-lasting internal battery that will power your keyboard for about a month or more between charges. It pairs automatically with your Mac, so you can get to work right away.
