Amazon has now brought back its Black Friday pricing on the new light and dark gray Beats Pill speakers. Regularly $150, you can score both of the latest colorways back down at $99.99 shipped. The standard red, black, and gold models have now jumped up $30 from the Black Friday listings, but the latest colors are now once again $50 or 33% off the regular price tag to match the lowest price we have tracked all-time.
The new gray models are indeed the Kim Kardashian variants that debuted in mid October, but outside of the colors they are identical to the standard 2024 Beats Pill speaker. And I happen to be a big fan of the stone or concrete-like color treatments here.
Apple’s Beats brand re-launched the iconic Pill speaker for 2024 with some new improvements including what is perhaps the most notable of the bunch, built-in Apple Find My so you can zero-in on your misplaced speaker using the find My app on your iPhone. You’ll also find iCloud pairing and Apple Watch audio hand-off that allow you to “instantly pair with every device in your iCloud account” and leverage automatic audio handoff to Apple Watch when iPhone is out of range.
From there, the familiar pill-shaped form-factor is protected with an IP67 rating against dust and water as well as enough battery power to run for up to 24 hours at a time – you’ll net an additional 2 hours of listening time after 10 minutes of fast charging.
