Elevation Lab has been on a role already in 2025 with a series of new innovations and mounts for Apple’s AirTag item locators. While there might be a new AirTag 2 on the way this year, there’s also a ton of current-gen AirTags out there and Elevation Lab delivers some of the very best ways to put them to use or re-purpose them. Its latest solution has arrived, the new TagVault AirTag Camera. This metal and carbon fiber composite accessory is designed to neatly and securely hide an AirTag in a universal tripod plate. Now available for purchase via the band’s official Amazon storefront, you can get more details and a closer look down below.
Elevation Lab debuts new TagVault AirTag Camera mount
This year alone, we have already featured the new travel-ready waterproof AirTag TagVault with a steel braided cable just after the launch of its TimeCapsule – a device designed to increase the battery life on AirTag to 10 years. But today we are turning to the brand’s new solution for amateur and professional photographers and filmmakers alike.
Debuting today for the first time, this new gadget comes as part of Elevation Lab’s TagVault lineup – a series of contraptions and mounts deigned to house an AirTag in an ultra-rugged housing that can withstand water and truly take a beating.
The TagVault AirTag Camera comes in the form of a universal tripod plate made to securely hide and AirTag that can be attached right to your pricey camera rig.
The body is made of a “premium” carbon fiber composite body with an “ultra low-profile” form-factor alongside a machined stainless security Torx screw to fasten the plate (that houses the AirTag) directly between your camera and a tripod (or anything else you might have it connected to) – there’s a Torx-compatible T20 driver included with your purchase.

The brand says it is compatible with “any camera with its battery door over 1.25″/32mm from center of tripod mounting point (Sony A7 & A6, Canon EOS & RF, Nikon bodies and more).”
Features at a glance:
- The best way to keep AirTag on your camera.
- Ultra low-profile.
- Premium carbon fiber composite body.
- Machined stainless security Torx screw (1/4″-20).
- Great tripod plate: Arca-Swiss geometry.

As mentioned above, the TagVault AirTag Camera is now available for purchase via Amazon at $19.99, or you can score a 2-pack at $29.99.
Apple might very well readying AirTag 2 for 2025 at this point, but again considering how many AirTags are already out there, these add-on accessories can be a great way to further your investment whether you plan on scoring some of the new models once they release later this year or not. All of the rumors, leaks, and expected details you need to know about AirTag 2 are of course waiting for you over at 9to5Mac.
