This bundle would normally cost you $2,099 in full, with discounts having usually being on the station and solar panels for $1,299. The addition of the extra battery would cost you $459 right now, meaning you’d normally be spending $1,758 for this same setup. The Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus power station is the predecessor to the brand’s newer Explorer 1000 v2, but brings a larger 1,264Wh battery capacity (doubled to 2,528Wh thanks to the extra battery) over the v2’s 1,070Wh capacity. It delivers up to a steady 2,000W output and can surge as high as 4,000W for hungrier devices/appliances through its eight port options: three ACs, two USB-As, two USB-Cs, and one car port. A standard AC outlet can recharge the battery to full in around 100 minutes, or you could also connect it to your car’s auxiliary port for seven hours of charging as you drive. There’s also a max 800W solar input that takes two to five hours to refill the battery, depending on the weather, with the included 200W of panels in this bundle taking a bit longer.
