Logitech has introduced a new ultra-light wireless gaming mouse, the G Pro X2 Superstrike, and it comes with a few tricks to stand out from the sea of other options out there. Instead of traditional mechanical switches, this flagship model will ship with an analog system, adding haptic actuators to mimic the feel of a click. It’s set to launch early next year at $179.99 shipped and will come in a black and white color scheme. Logitech has also introduced the new G Pro X Superlight 2C, which is now up for grabs at $159.99 shipped in three colors. Head below for a closer look and more details.
The Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike comes with what the brand calls the Haptic Inductive Trigger System, or HITS, which combines adjustable actuation point and rapid trigger capabilities. There’s no shortage of keyboards on the market that use analog switches and adjustable actuation, but this is the first time we’re seeing this tech implemented in a gaming mouse. The G Pro X2 Superstrike features 10 selectable actuation steps and five rapid trigger reset levels over 0.6mm of click travel, and this new tech is said to improve latency by up to 30 milliseconds. Users can configure the rapid trigger reset points via the G Hub app, and you can really dial in the settings to your liking.

The new Haptic Inductive Trigger System aside, the G Pro X2 Superstrike model comes packed with the brand’s latest Hero 2 optical sensor with a maximum resolution of 44,000 DPI and a maximum speed of 888 IPS. It’s essentially the same sensor you’ll find inside the brand’s G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex model, which can handle up to 88 G’s of acceleration. It even has the same overall size and shape as the G Pro X Superlight 2 and weighs 65 grams. Other noteworthy features of the G Pro X2 Superstrike mouse include up to an 8,000 Hz polling rate, along with support for up to 90 hours of battery life.

Logitech has also rolled out the new G Pro X Superlight 2C, a smaller version of the Superlight 2. It packs the same specs as the existing unit but trims things down with a 10% lighter build at just 51 grams and a more compact design for those who prefer a smaller mouse. The Superlight 2C is already available in three colors for $159.99 shipped, while the new Superstrike model won’t hit shelves until next year.
